The Coquina Sands area offers an extraordinary location to the Gulf of Mexico that is second to none! Residents in this area share direct access to the Gulf through the Doctors Pass, just shy north. There is a voluntary Home Owners Association for the area giving residents a voice in the local government and access to several social events throughout the year. For a small annual membership fee, members have the pleasure of using many discounts at nearby shops and restaurants as well.

South of Coquina Sands, residents find themselves wandering down the luxurious street of Fifth Avenue where spectacular shopping and fine dining experiences take place among the plethora of shops.
Heading down from Fifth Avenue from Tamiami Trail, you will find yourself making a left onto Gulfshore Boulevard and arriving at the sought after Naples Pier. The Naples Pier stretches approximately an amazing one thousand feet into the Gulf of Mexico. About halfway through to the end of the pier, there is a concession stand for any light snacking or beverages. At the end of the pier, dolphins are swimming in the surrounding waters and fishermen sit contently with their fishing lines over the railing.
Lowdermilk Pavilion Park offers a great little area on the shoreline in the Coquina Sands area. There are plenty of picnic areas overlooking the ocean. A concession stand is on site for the convenience of guests offering drinks and sandwiches. There are two gazebos on the property that are able to be rented out for special events with restrooms, outdoor showers, and the refreshing breeze coming off the the west coast of Florida.
